Badaling Great Wall

The Badaling section of the Great Wall is the most visited and well-preserved section of the Great Wall of China. Located 70 kilometers northwest of Beijing, it was the first section of the wall to open to tourists in 1957. The wall at Badaling was built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and served as a military stronghold. The section features watchtowers, battlements, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
