About
The venue consists of six themed zones: Rainforest Wonder, Shark Town, Bering Strait, Underwater Voyage, Chinese Sturgeon Museum and Ocean Theatre. It houses hundreds of aquatic species, including sharks, rays, jellyfish, green turtles and precious wild Chinese sturgeon. The Ocean Theatre stages wonderful dolphin and sea lion shows, and multiple feeding performances are arranged daily. Featuring immersive underwater tunnels, dreamy jellyfish viewing areas and marine science exhibits, it is a top family-friendly destination for marine popular science education and sightseeing. Please note that aquarium tickets include admission to Beijing Zoo, but do not cover the Giant Panda House.

- Purchase tickets in advance via the official WeChat channel; carry original ID documents for preferential ticket verification
- Enter from the North Gate of Beijing Zoo
- Metro Line 4 Zoo Station is recommended
- No flash photography and no tapping aquarium glass to avoid frightening aquatic creatures
- Check daily schedules for animal shows and feeding performances upon arrival
- The indoor venue maintains a constant mild temperature; bring a light jacketv
- Drones are prohibited within the entire aquarium and zoo area
- Plan your itinerary reasonably; you can combine the aquarium with Beijing Zoo sightseeing
- No fixed weekly Monday closure; performance schedules may be suspended in extreme weather
