Black Mountain Valley Scenic Area

Located in Heishan Town of Chongqing’s Wansheng Economic Development Zone, Black Valley Scenic Area is a national forest park and geopark spanning over 100 square kilometers. With a 97% forest coverage rate, it features a 13-kilometer long canyon that straddles Chongqing and Guizhou, gathering steep cliffs, hundreds of waterfalls, clear pools, plank walkways and suspension bridges. It is home to rare wild animals and plants, known as a natural oxygen bar and the most beautiful health-preserving canyon in southwest China, integrating karst landforms, primitive ecology and mountain water landscapes.
