Chongqing Zoo

Built in 1953 and located in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing Zoo covers 43.5 hectares of rolling wooded hills with streams and lakes winding through the grounds. It raises more than 260 species and over 4,000 wild animals, with over 20 giant pandas on display — ranking top among China’s city zoos, including internet-famous pandas Yuke and Yu’ai.
