Located in Shapingba District beside the Jialing River, Ciqikou boasts a history of over 1,000 years, once a bustling ancient wharf trading hub in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The whole town is filled with the rich aroma of local specialties such as spicy fried peanuts and Chen Mahua, alongside traditional craft shops selling hand-thrown porcelain, sugar-figure art and folk paintings.
