Daci'en Temple

Daci'en Temple is located in Yanta District of Xi’an, constructed in the Tang Dynasty as an imperial temple. The eminent monk Xuanzang presided over the temple for many years, translating a large number of Buddhist scriptures here and building the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda to store scriptures and Buddhist relics. The temple features quiet courtyards, ancient cypresses, solemn Buddha halls and stone scripture steles, integrating profound Buddhist culture and classical Tang architectural aesthetics, and it is the core scenic spot matching Datang Everbright City.
