Dafo Temple

Located in Yuexiu District beside Beijing Road, this ancient temple was first built in the Southern Han Dynasty and rebuilt in the early Qing Dynasty with official imperial temple architectural style. It is one of Guangzhou’s five major Buddhist jungles, famous for the 6-meter-tall bronze Buddha statues in the main hall and dazzling golden-lit Hongfa Tower at night, blending ancient religious culture with downtown commercial scenery.
