Dashanchong Forest Park

It is a primitive suburban forest park with a forest coverage rate exceeding 80% and more than 430 varieties of wild plants, including protected ancient tree species such as dove trees and Chinese yew, forming a natural high-concentration negative oxygen ion forest oxygen bar on the outskirts of Changsha. Unlike crowded urban scenic spots, it retains original ecological mountain streams, wetland woodlands and quiet bamboo groves with minimal commercial development. Its core landmark is the iconic pond cypress wetland, where tall water fir trees stand in clear green water, creating dreamy reflections ideal for forest-style photography. Other highlights include the Bamboo Grove Trail, Stone Script Cliff, Golden Ginkgo Avenue, mountain top viewing platform, shallow stream wading area and quiet mountain reservoir.
