About
Located by the Li River in central Guilin, Diecai Hill gets its name from stratified rock layers that look like stacked colorful silk. The scenic area features winding stone trails, ancient stone inscriptions, viewing pavilions and the famous Wind Cave. Climbing to the summit provides a full overlook of Guilin city, Li River and surrounding karst peaks. Adult tickets can be purchased online at a discounted price in advance.

- Visitors aged 65 and above get free entry by presenting original ID cards.
- Mountain stone steps are damp and slippery after rain; wear non-slip flat shoes.
- The Wind Cave stays cool all year, bring a thin jacket for visits in spring and autumn.
- Do not scratch or damage ancient cliff stone carvings and cultural relics.
- Do not climb over safety railings on viewing platforms for photography.
- Take all garbage down the mountain to protect the mountain ecological environment.
