Designed by architect Lü Yanzhi,the whole complex adopts solemn Republican‑period Chinese‑style architecture,arranged along a central axis from the memorial archway all the way up to the memorial hall and tomb chamber. Visitors climb 392 stone steps to reach the top platform with panoramic mountain views. Core attractions include Fraternity Archway,Mausoleum Gate,Stele Pavilion,Sacrificial Hall and Tomb Chamber.
It embodies solemn revolutionary historical heritage and outstanding republican architectural art,and is a must‑visit memorial sightseeing spot in Nanjing.

- Take Metro Line 2 to Minggugong Station,exit No 2,then transfer to scenic shuttle bus
- Wear comfortable non‑slip walking shoes,prepare drinking water,a large number of stone steps require physical strength
- Arrive early in the morning to avoid tourist groups and summer high temperature
- Keep quiet in the core memorial area,no loud talking,no running and jumping
- No hat‑wearing,no sunglasses inside the Sacrificial Hall for respect
- Do not touch stone carvings and cultural relics,do not carve on stone surfaces
- Drones are strictly prohibited within the whole Purple Mountain protection zone
