Dujiangyan Panda Valley

Nestled in the green mountainous area of Dujiangyan, Panda Valley serves as a quiet rehabilitation and breeding base for giant pandas, far less crowded than the Chengdu Research Base. Surrounded by dense bamboo forests, the park provides wide open-air enclosures that mimic wild environments for pandas to wander, climb and feed. Apart from adult giant pandas, visitors may spot young cubs, red pandas and native Sichuan wildlife. It combines wildlife protection science popularization with peaceful mountain scenery, delivering a serene and authentic panda-watching experience away from large tourist crowds.
