About
Located at the northern foot of Lishan Mountain in Lintong District, Xi’an, Huaqing Palace has a history of more than 3,000 years. It was the imperial hot spring resort for emperors of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties, especially the beloved leisure palace of Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Besides ancient palaces, lotus pools and natural geothermal hot springs, the scenic spot also preserves the historical relics of the Xi’an Incident. Integrating natural mountain and river scenery, ancient royal garden architecture and important modern historical sites, it is a well-known comprehensive historical tourist attraction in Xi’an.
