It is renowned for the unique Jiageng-style architecture, a perfect integration of Minnan swallowtail roof craftsmanship, Nanyang tropical design and Western classical colonnade structures.
The core landmarks include the picturesque Dragon Boat Pond surrounded by Nanxun Building and Daonan Building, Ao Garden with stone relief murals, Chen Kah Kee Memorial Hall, Jimei Old Community and the famous Shili Long Embankment. The over-sea section of Metro Line 1 passing by the embankment has become a signature Internet-famous check-in spot.
