About
Built upon the excavation site of the 3,000-year-old Jinsha sacrificial ruins, Jinsha Site Museum preserves precious cultural artifacts of the ancient Shu civilization, including the iconic Sun God Bird gold foil, jade cong, bronze masks and ivory relics unearthed from the sacred burial ground. The museum combines open-air archaeological ruins exhibition halls, indoor cultural relic display galleries and lush Shu-style gardens, fully restoring the mysterious sacrificial customs, handicraft techniques and unique spiritual culture of the ancient Shu people, serving as a vital window to explore Chengdu’s pre-Qin ancient civilization history.
