About
Located in Xinghua Village, Shuping Town, Yongdeng County, about 30 kilometers from central Lanzhou, this 4A scenic spot covers over 600 square kilometers of rare red bay landform formed over 180 million years. Different from bright red Qicai Danxia, its hills are layered with grey, ochre, yellow and russet minerals, presenting soft ink-wash painting textures that inspired its name. The sightseeing bus loops connect six viewing platforms including Danding Lances, Nine-Colour Danqing and Silk Road Rosy Glow, with a 2.5km red plank road winding through valleys. Standing at the 1959m highest viewpoint, visitors enjoy a 360° panorama of rolling colored ridges and distant Yellow River bends, integrating geological wonders, Silk Road culture and landscape photography resources.
