Lashihai Wetland

Lashihai is a national-level alpine wetland nature reserve located southwest of Lijiang Ancient City. Covered with shallow lake water and wide meadows, it serves as a vital winter habitat for thousands of migratory waterbirds. Visitors can enjoy lakeside horse riding, wooden boat cruising and unobstructed views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain reflected on the water. The public wetland viewing area is free, while horse riding, boat trips and ranch experience packages require separate charges.
