Lishan Mountain

Lishan Mountain stands in Lintong District of Xi’an, adjacent to Huaqing Palace at its northern foot. Covered with lush green pines and cypresses all year round, it features rolling gentle peaks and clear mountain springs. In ancient times, emperors of the Zhou, Qin and Tang dynasties came here for sightseeing and hot spring recuperation, leaving numerous imperial palaces and stone inscriptions. Meanwhile, it preserves key historical sites of the Xi’an Incident, such as the bunker and the arrest pavilion. It perfectly integrates delicate natural mountain views, Tang royal stories and important modern historical relics.
