About
Located in Longsheng Multi-Ethnic Autonomous County, about 2 hours’ drive from downtown Guilin, Longji Rice Terraces have a history of more than 650 years. Hand-built along steep mountain slopes by local Zhuang and Yao people, the cascading terraces stretch from valley bottom to mountain ridges, covering Ping’an Zhuang Village, Jinkeng Red Yao Dazhai and Ancient Zhuang Village three core zones. The landscape changes dramatically across four seasons, paired with well-preserved wooden stilt houses, ethnic folk customs and local farm food. The general adult entrance ticket costs 80 RMB and remains valid for 3 consecutive days across all scenic areas, while sightseeing cable cars to high viewing platforms require extra payment.
