About
Located in Wulong District, Chongqing, Longshui Gorge Ground Fissure is a core supporting scenic spot of Wulong Karst World Natural Heritage Site. Formed by millions of years of geological movement, the whole valley stretches for several kilometers with towering cliffs squeezing a narrow waterway. Crystal-clear mountain streams run along the bottom of the fissure, interspersed with countless hanging waterfalls, moss-covered stone walls and natural stalactites. The canyon maintains a cool temperature all year round, wrapped in dense original forest. Wooden plank roads wind along the stream, allowing visitors to closely appreciate the delicate and quiet karst valley landscape distinct from the grand Three Natural Bridges.
