Luoyang Peony Garden

As one of the earliest built professional peony viewing and breeding bases in Luoyang, it is the core source garden for peony seedlings transplanted to major peony parks across the city, known as the cradle of Luoyang’s peony industry. Different from Luoyang’s numerous historical relics and mountain scenic spots, it is a seasonal floral-themed park that fully showcases the charm of the national flower peony. Its core highlights include nine major color systems of rare peony varieties, the champion peonies selected in Luoyang Peony Competition for eight consecutive sessions, elegant classical pavilions, winding garden corridors, lotus ponds and pastoral flower fields. It is a top Hanfu photography and spring leisure destination in Luoyang, and can be arranged together with White Horse Temple and Lijing Gate to form a Mangshan cultural and flower appreciation one-day itinerary.
