Mao'er Mountain

Located in Xing’an County, Guilin, Mao'er Mountain stands at 2141.5 meters above sea level, the highest summit of South China. It serves as the water source of Li River, Zi River and Xun River, covered with primitive subtropical forests and rare wild flora and fauna. The scenic area integrates alpine meadows, waterfalls, the historic Laoshanjie Red Army trail and observation decks for overlooking rolling mountain clouds. Private cars cannot drive uphill; all tourists must take round-trip sightseeing buses included in the combined ticket.
