As one of the top ten landmark buildings constructed for the 10th National Day celebration, it is China’s comprehensive national military museum. The museum preserves more than 180,000 cultural relics, covering the revolutionary wars led by the CPC, modern national defense development, ancient and modern military history. Core highlights include meritorious tanks, fighter jets, missiles, artillery pieces and precious military historical artifacts. The exhibition areas are distributed across the basement, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors, plus an outdoor weapon display zone. It serves as a vital venue for national defense education, red study tours and military culture sightseeing, attracting military enthusiasts, families and student groups.

All visitors must complete real-name reservation in advance via the official WeChat account

Carry original ID documents for verification; only the South Gate is open for entry

Metro Line 1 & Line 9 Military Museum Station is highly recommended

Selfie sticks, tripods, drones and lighters are prohibited inside the museum

Large luggage must be stored at the free baggage service counter

Do not climb or touch any weapon exhibits; keep quiet in exhibition halls

Photography flash is forbidden to protect cultural relics; video recording is restricted in certain galleries
