Ming Dynasty Tombs (Shisanling)

As a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site and AAAAA-level scenic area, it serves as the burial complex for thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Constructed over more than 200 years, the mausoleum group follows traditional Feng Shui layout, surrounded by rolling mountains. At present, four zones are open to tourists: the Sacred Way, Changling, Dingling and Zhaoling. Highlights include exquisite stone statues along the Sacred Way, the grand nanmu main hall of Changling, and Dingling, the only excavated imperial underground palace in the Ming Tombs. It integrates magnificent ancient architecture, sophisticated stone carving art and profound Ming Dynasty history.
