Located in Chengzhong District of central Xining, Mojia Street has a history of over 600 years dating back to the Ming Dynasty. It is a bustling commercial and catering block integrating local food stalls, specialty stores and cultural stalls, well-known as the top food landmark of Xining. Visitors can taste classic Qinghai snacks such as cold wheat noodles, yak yogurt, sweet fermented barley and lamb offal noodles, and buy Tibetan handicrafts, dried fruits and plateau local products. Close to Dongguan Grand Mosque and Daxin Street Night Market, it carries strong Hehuang folk customs and lively night market atmosphere all year round.
