Mutianyu Great Wall

It is constructed under General Xu Da of the Ming Dynasty, it stretches 5,400 meters along mountain ridges and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1987. Compared with Badaling, Mutianyu features denser watchtowers, over 90% forest coverage and fewer crowds. Its iconic Zhengguan Terrace consists of three connected watchtowers, a rare architectural layout across the entire Great Wall. It is also favoured by overseas dignitaries and was featured in the movie If You Are the One II.
