About
The park consists of three main sections: the Central Venue Zone, Olympic Forest Park and Olympic Sports Center. Iconic landmarks include the Bird’s Nest (National Stadium), Water Cube (National Aquatics Center) and Olympic Tower. It combines modern landmark architecture, vast urban wetlands, woodland trails and leisure plazas. Serving as a landmark of Olympic culture, it offers spectacular cityscape photography, outdoor relaxation and sports-themed sightseeing for tourists and families.
Travel Tips
- Public plazas and outdoor park zones are free of charge with no advance reservation required
- Metro Line 8 & Line 15 is strongly recommended
- Interior visits to Bird’s Nest, Water Cube and Olympic Tower require separate tickets
- Drones are prohibited within the entire park area
- Wear comfortable walking shoes; the whole scenic zone covers a large area
- Check event schedules in advance; large-scale performances may cause temporary traffic control
- Water Cube interior exhibition hall closes every Monday (except public holidays)
- The night lighting of Bird’s Nest and Water
- Cube turns on after sunset; ideal for evening photography
