Qiyun Mountain

Distinguished by spectacular Danxia landform, profound Taoist culture and numerous ancient cliff inscriptions, it forms a distinctive landscape different from the towering Huangshan Mountain. The mountain summit stands at merely 585 meters, featuring gentle hiking trails and frequent sea of clouds all year round. The cliffside Yuehua Sky Street is a centuries-old Taoist village where Taoist temples and Huizhou-style dwellings coexist harmoniously. Core attractions include Immortal Cave Complex with hundreds of stone carvings, Xuantian Taisu Palace, Yuxu Palace, Xiaohutian Cliff Corridor, Incense Burner Peak and Dengfeng Ancient Bridge. The winding Hengjiang River flows at the foot of the mountain, creating a picturesque scroll of mountains and rivers. It integrates red cliff scenery, Taoist heritage, calligraphy relics and rural Huizhou landscapes, and is a perfect destination for leisure hiking, Hanfu photography, Taoist culture experience and sunrise & cloud viewing.
