About
Located beside the Peach Blossom River in Xiufeng District of Guilin, Reed Flute Cave Scenic Area gets its name from reed grass growing at the cave entrance that can be made into flutes. Formed over millions of years, the 240-meter cave features countless vivid stalactites, stalagmites and stone curtains illuminated by colorful lights. There are more than 70 Tang Dynasty ink inscriptions on the cave walls, and its Crystal Palace served as a shooting site for Journey to the West. Having hosted over 300 foreign heads of state, it earns the title of State Guest Cave. The adult entrance ticket costs 90 RMB and includes free Chinese guided tour service.

- Standard adult ticket is 90 RMB; visitors aged 60 to 69 can buy half-price tickets at 45 RMB with valid ID.
- Visitors aged 70 and above can enter the scenic spot free of charge by presenting identity documents.
- The cave maintains a constant temperature of 17-19°C all year, so bring a light jacket for coolness inside.
- Tourists must follow the guide group along the one-way route; do not break away to avoid lights being turned off.
- Purchase tickets through official channels only, and avoid private scalpers selling discounted tickets.
