• Regular inter-county buses depart from Shigatse Bus Station to Sakya Town
• Carry a valid border pass if you continue traveling towards Gyirong, Nyalam or Everest scenic areas
• Observe strict religious etiquette: wear modest clothing without sleeveless tops or shorts, remove hats and sunglasses before entering Buddha halls
• Flash photography and video recording are completely forbidden inside all scripture halls, mural chambers and relic exhibition rooms
• The monastery consists of layered buildings with steep stone steps and narrow uneven corridors
• Follow the marked visiting route to avoid getting lost or tripping
• Keep voices low within the compound, and do not interrupt scripture recitation and religious rituals held by lamas
• Drone takeoff is banned over the entire monastery protected zone for the safety of ancient buildings and religious activities
• Prepare windproof jackets, sunscreen and sunglasses in advance
