Shaanxi History Museum

Located in Xi’an, Shaanxi History Museum is a large comprehensive modern museum built in the style of Tang Dynasty architecture. It collects over 370,000 cultural relics spanning from prehistoric times to the late Qing Dynasty, including bronze wares, Tang tri-color pottery, ancient paintings, jade ornaments and gold and silver artifacts. The permanent exhibition systematically presents the historical evolution of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties, which once took Shaanxi as their capital, allowing visitors to trace the glorious development of ancient Chinese empires in one stop.
