The Peak Tram (Hong Kong Victoria Peak Funicular)

It connects Garden Road Lower Terminus in Central to the Peak Tower on Victoria Peak, with a total track length of 1.27 kilometers and a maximum gradient of 27 degrees. The sixth-generation retro dark green carriage features a full panoramic glass roof, creating a dramatic visual experience where skyscrapers appear to tilt backward during the steep climb. The entire ride only takes about 8 minutes to reach the summit. From the Peak Tower’s Sky Terrace 428 viewing platform, visitors enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong Island, Kowloon skyline and distant outlying islands. It is the most iconic landmark for viewing Hong Kong’s world-famous day scenery and million-dollar night views, and can be combined with Central, Admiralty and Lan Kwai Fong for a classic Hong Kong Island downtown one-day itinerary.
