Sifang Square sits at the heart of Lijiang Ancient City, once the bustling trading center of the Ancient Tea Horse Road. Radiating stone alleys extend in all directions, surrounded by Naxi-style shops, snack stalls and folk craft stores. The square is open to tourists free of charge 24 hours daily. The famous ancient street water cleaning custom is preserved here, and it becomes lively with folk singing and bonfire parties after sunset. Only featured ethnic performances and handcraft experience activities charge extra fees.
