About
Surrounded by dense spruce forests and snow-capped ridges, it is also known as Yaochi in mythology, the legendary bathing pool of the Queen Mother of the West. It integrates snow mountain scenery, Taoist cultural relics and Kazakh nomadic customs, the top one-day tourist destination departing from Urumqi.
Core highlights include main lake plank walkway, East Small Heavenly Lake waterfall, Maya Mountain panoramic viewing platform, ancient Taoist temples and winter frozen ice landscape.
