Located at No.21 Jinger Road, Chengbei Biotech Industrial Park of Xining, this national 4A scenic spot is the largest natural museum in Northwest China, covering 18,000 square meters with 24 themed exhibition halls across three floors. It houses massive collections including snow leopard and Tibetan antelope taxidermy, ore and salt crystal specimens, as well as China’s largest three-dimensional plateau sand table. The venue systematically showcases the plateau’s geological evolution, alpine ecology, rare wild creatures and salt lake landscapes, serving as a popular science base for visitors to learn about the unique natural features of the Roof of the World.
