Wangcheng Park

The 600-mu large park is divided into four core functional zones: Peony Appreciation Garden, Zhou Dynasty Cultural Relic Area, Wangcheng Zoo and Parent-Child Amusement Zone. It is the birthplace of the Luoyang Peony Culture Festival, boasting more than 300 peony varieties and over 10,000 peony plants, including rare premium strains such as Yaohuang and Doulv. Different from grand imperial ruins and mountain scenic spots, it integrates ancient historical heritage, seasonal flower viewing, parent-child leisure and urban park relaxation. Core highlights include the iconic Peony Fairy white marble statue, Chenxiang Tower (the best Hanfu shooting spot), Jiuding Wall and Hetu Luoshu cultural reliefs in the Zhou culture zone, a standard urban zoo with various wild animals, and a full set of amusement rides. It enjoys an ultra-central downtown location with extremely convenient transportation, and can be paired with Luoyang Museum and Mingtang Paradise to form a compact downtown cultural one-day tour.
