About
Situated on the north bank of the Yellow River at the northern end of Zhongshan Bridge in Chengguan District, White Pagoda Mountain Park gets its name from the ancient White Pagoda Temple atop the hill, first built in the Yuan Dynasty and reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty. Layered antique pavilions, halls and stone trails spread across the hillside. As the highest urban viewing spot in central Lanzhou, it delivers unobstructed bird’s-eye vistas of the winding Yellow River, downtown skyline and Zhongshan Iron Bridge. The park is free to enter, with optional paid cable cars and tower climbing fees for visitors seeking a relaxed mountain trip.
