About
Located in Wushan County of Chongqing, Wushan Little Three Gorges refers to three connected canyons on the Daning River: Longmen Gorge, Bawu Gorge and Dicui Gorge, a national 5A-level scenic spot attached to the Yangtze Three Gorges tourist belt. Compared with the grand main Three Gorges of the Yangtze, the Little Three Gorges boasts narrower valleys, crystal-clear emerald river water and lush primitive vegetation covering mountain slopes. Along the river cliffs, wild macaque groups often wander, and mysterious ancient hanging coffins of the Ba people are embedded in rock crevices, carrying thousands of years of local minority culture. Visitors take low-draft sightseeing boats drifting through winding waterways, enjoying layered green peaks, cascading mountain springs and quiet river scenery that blends stunning natural ecology with precious ancient cultural relics.
