Xining Nanshan Park

Built on Phoenix Mountain in Chengzhong District of Xining with an altitude of 2419 meters, this national 3A scenic spot is the largest urban mountain forest park in Xining, covering over 1,500 mu with 80% forest coverage. The core landmark Phoenix Terrace stands at the mountain top, delivering 270° panoramic city views of Xining, famous for spectacular sunset and night scenery. It features mountain hiking trails, lawn rest areas, a Tibetan custom garden and ancient pavilions, blending alpine greenery, local folk culture and urban sightseeing, known as the city’s backyard garden for locals and travelers.
