Zhongshan Bridge

Located at the foot of Baita Mountain on the Yellow River bank in Chengguan District, Zhongshan Bridge, also called Yellow River Iron Bridge, was completed in 1909 and is the first permanent steel bridge spanning the Yellow River. Renamed Zhongshan Bridge in 1928, it is a national key cultural relic protection unit. Since 2004, it has been open only to pedestrians without motor vehicles. Walking on the bridge, visitors can overlook the rolling Yellow River, Baita Mountain and the city skyline, and the glowing bridge lights at night form a classic riverside night scene popular for photography.
